- Charlottesville Civic Action 2010 Opening Reception: 5:30-7:30pm. Created as a partnership between CCDC and the Center for Nonprofit Excellence, Charlottesville Civic Action challenged local nonprofit organizations to address the following question: “What is the most promising opportunity to strengthen our community over the next decade, and what action will your organization take to make a difference?” 12 of the 48 responding organizations are featured in the exhibit and will present their responses from 6-7pm.
