The Charlottesville Community Design Center (CCDC) is one of over 40 design centers in the US that uses design to engage citizens in creating positive change in their neighborhoods and communities. Mandy Burbage, director of CCDC, will discuss the important niche filled by community design centers and the successful tactics CCDC has used to bring citizens and designers together to shape a better future for Charlottesville.

A special edition co-hosted by Piedmont Council of the Arts featuring short presentations by 10 area arts organizations, providing a special platform for each to share their mission and programs. This forum is meant to enable community members to make connections and access a network of arts resources.
